Yeah I've got an isky in it. So Ill compress the oil out of the filter and see what there, if theres no metal slap in some new oil and filter and check on it?

 

That's what I would do. Check again at your next oil change and see if its still shiny at all. Its pretty normal to get some fine metallic junk out of it after your first change with the new cam and stuff from break in.

Is it possible there would be some break in time for the turbo that would cause that? Doesnt look like anything I would be too concerned with at this point. Do another quick oil change interval and see what you are dealing with next time.

SO does anybody have any tricks for a leaking NPT fuel fitting? The one on the left leaks, Im using liquid teflon thats fuel safe, theres no more anodizing in the fitting, its a Professional products regulator and im using copius amounts of teflon and getting it tight. It takes some time for it to start leaking but eventually it leaks

let the pipe dope settle a bit then install the fitting and tighten it. if it leaks again, give it another 1/8 turn.

 

Your regulator comes with pipe tapped threads and not AN threads?

 

I thought this regulator was a 9/16x18?

Yes it does, I was not going to originally do all AN lines. Its 3/8 NPT

I think they do make a regulator with that thread but its not this one

 

Well Summit has good customer service and said just return it no problem so Im exachanging it for a aeromotive 13129 I didnt realize professional products was china ****, the threads are cut horribly and thats got to be why it leaks.
