Alright thanks thats what i was wondering. I have literally been making brackets all week in school for everything on the front of the truck. Im planning on putting the fuel pump in tomorrow and getting the hot side hooked up. I ended up moving the computer back a couple inches to clear the piping too

I can't stress how much of a super bad idea that crank bolt is. You do realize what the torque value is on these right?

Yea hopefully he just used that bolt to get the pulley seated.

If you didn't know, you can't reuse the factory crank pulley bolt. I bet there is going to be oil standing in that drain line... I wouldn't be surprised if oil back up all the way to the turbo causing it to come through the seals if you don't have a restrictor in your feed line. Why didn't you just dump the return line into the front of the oil pan?

Clock the turbo so that the drain line is completely vertical coming out of the bottom of the turbo. Also, what size hose are you using for the drain line?

Siemens makes good products and I run their 60lb tall injectors on my truck too.... Where is your blow off valve?

Yeah dont worry about the crank pulley i just seated it with that one. The bov is welded on there just before the tb now. And the drain line i know its not the best i was just kinda sketched out about doing the oil pan but i might just do that now. I drove the truck to and from school to have my teachers grade it, i left open the hole for the iat so it wouldnt build boost just in case it did and the whole ride there and back no blue smoke at all so its not backing up. And this was in like 40 degree weather not summer but not like regular winter either though

I just saw that you redid your drain line. If its working for you now then I wouldn't change it. Let us know what you make on your project

So I was planning on getting it to slowhawk ths coming week and I figured change the oil before it goes. Well I wondered if I needed something special to run in it and I didnt search real hard on here but it seems like people run a bunch of different oils on here. My dad has a 55 gallon drum of brad penn semi synthetic 5w30 that he runs in his vans at work and our personal vehicles. I was gonna run that but didnt know if there was something better since this is gonna be goin on a dyno... I read a few people run rotella 15w40 but how would myvengine like that in the winter like now since i live in new england and the temp has gotten downto zero recently actually....

If i dont have to run the the racing oils such as vr1, royal purple ect thatd be good, as it is i just dumped 6k into this thing.... But i can get the brad penn 5w30 or rottella t 15w40 for free through my dad....

Any help would
be great thanks
