Default 5.3 swap older c10

I'm wanting to swap a 5.3 into an older c10. Not looking for anything crazy or extreme. Just a stock swap to start. Is there a budget way to do this? Mounting the motor and 4l60 should be fine. The wiring and fuel is the part that is worrying me. If there is someone out there whose done any of these please chime in. Thanks

Really simple for the older trucks. Just need a walbro inline 255 pump, Buy some fuel injection hose and have Fast Hose modify to fit the fuel rail and line. Might wanna run a return line you can get a vette filter and plumb into it. Still pretty simple. Get the harness rewired and all the EGR delete vats and such. I did it on my 94 Suburban with a turbo so far the cost is about 3K with the motor. got the turbo and all the piping ready to install. not really hard just time consuming.

Went wit fuel injection connection for my 84 c10 5.3/700r4. The harness was for 5.3/60e, if my built 700 ever goes out I can throw a 60e or 80 swap in. Good harness an everything was labeled for 500

There is always the option of checking with junk yards for a harness. Just would need to be cleaned up but it would be cheap.
