Did you post it already? What's the deal with the engine you used for mock up if you bought a 454 short block?

mockup is just a 5.3 scrap block and a pos 4l80 foam mockup trans.. not a big block 454, ordered a LS next 454..
dart ls next shp blocks have the same dimensions as normal ls blocks.

Thanks! I was aware of that. I just thought it was something special because it was all wrapped in plastic and whatnot

then you posted about the 454 and I was curious to know what was to become of the engine used for mock up

I got the bed back on today, stance looks good so far but feels like the coilovers in the rear are gonna ride like ****.
i got the engine from shafiroff, as long as this thing holds up to some mild abuse for years to come ill be really happy i went with them.
I got intake manifold little bit ago and order some filter stuff, think it will barely clear with me cutting the hood bracing underneath.
bad news i tried to fit the headers they dont fit so i ordered some different ones hoping theyre close enough i can beat them to fit in only a few spots, i should of checked this long ago when i was doing the brace but forgot honestly.
coming along slowly..

Also forgot i tried my hand at body work for the first time, my roll pan had dual exhaust thru it when i got it, too ugly for me so i thought id try fixing it myself instead of buying a new pan. It came out alright but bondo is defintly gonna be my friend lol cant learn unless u do it yourself..
it will be good enough when i finish it spring time

Looking good! What rate springs are on the coilovers in the back?
