Default 4.3L v6 swap for an ls1???

I have a 99 gmc sierra v6 and I'm tired of going slow and frustated when I see all these punks riding around in their t/a's and camaros and nothng would please me more than to cream them on the streets without having to get rid of my first and only truck. So I need pointers and tips on what I need and how I would be able to pull off this swap.

Look into this thread. It is a really good walk through for a V6-V8 swap.
