Post the truck that ran high 11s with that cam, converter combo bc ive never seen one run high 11s with that cam.

Put a set of PRC 2.5 heads, an intake, 1 3/4" LTs or even 1 7/8" if you dont care, run a 4:10-4:30 an a 12.3-12.5 is in your future

I don't if this would help, but I had a 221/226 .566/.562 114+1 ran a 12.94 @ 103, in a ecsb. So I'd think you could run mid 12's maybe with the right setup.

honestly for your goals try to get nothing less the 228 duration cam and i think your lq9 will like a little more lift then that ..

https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...200-stall.html

this si a perty banging deal since your truck is a bit heavyer then a camaro it will act a little looser so youll get a higher stall speed ..maybe like a 3500 or 3600

Why does he need such a large cam? More than one 5.3 has run mid 12s with LOW 220s duration cams.
