Do you think the stock 4-link will hook good since it's kinda like a mustang setup. One thing I have noticed with the 4-link is that when it squats down it pushes the axle to the drivers side about an inch, I noticed this when I hooked a camper up to mine. Had me wondering if this would affect it going straight when launching if tons of power was added.
I saw a cc hemi loaded down the other day that did this as well. Thought it was kinda strange. Do they have a panhard bar, or watts link, or what under there?

they have a panhard bar under there no watts link, i had a 72 C-10 back in high school that would do the same thing. It seems to be the nature of a linked/panhard bar setup as far as I know they're gonna push the axle when they're compressed. I wonder if when I do a 2/4 drop oin it is it gonna push the axle over then.

Flaco, I know you put the 2/4 drop on yours did it push the axle towards the drivers side?

I have been a chevy guy since birth and this is my first venture out of the bowtie community so sorry guys if I ask some crazy questions!

They have a panhard bar. With a watts link it wouldnt move side to side.

Any panhard bar setup is going to move the axle when the suspension travels.

Im sure the drop kit came with a bracket to relocate the panhard bar so that the axle is centered.

Interested to see the progress Flaco. I actually test drove one of the 2011 Ram 1500 Express package trucks the other day and really considering trading the Silverado in on one. They pull nicely in stock form though.

Have you got the exhaust done yet?

well, the headers and mid pipe came in...still waiting on the borla exhaust to arrive though...
i also went ahead and added a nx nitrous kit pilled at 100 in the meantime, and the results are

329hp / 331tq...on motor with headers and catted mid pipe
410hp / 403tq...on spray

rev limiter comes rather quick on spray...lol
on motor the A/F was 10.5-10.8

on spray...11.0-11.2
