Hows it driving? I have to assume its feeling pretty strong!

I'd love to see some new times this fall as the weather cools down.

The trans tune is now where I want it and does a much better job of utilizing the enhanced stall speed of the new converter. I originally was getting some bogging and some random lock/unlock behavior that I didn't like.

The engine tune is still getting the fuel dialed in. It was a bit lean to start with and last time I drove it, it was a bit rich. The timing is also still really conservative since he is still working on the fueling. I am waiting on the weather to cool down a bit(and the tune to get cleaned up) to take it to the track. I suspect it will end up making almost exactly my goal of 600 rwhp when all is said and done.

But, I also had another idler bearing (the other one) that died and required replacement...so I am all but done hearing this thing having belt squeak. I hope this gets it sorted, because right now I am just assuming they got their hands on a bad batch or preloaded them too much. If these fail too, I will start leaning toward a speed or load issue and may look at upgrading to a different one.

3.1 pulley is ~7, 2.9 is ~9. I really haven't run the 2.8 yet, but assume it would put me around 10. Most of my comments for power are on the 2.9 pulley since that is how I have driven the truck the majority of the time.

Any update? I'd love to hear more before this season is out. I think this truck is going to be a runner!

I had so many issues with the 8 rib idler bearings and then with belt touching the thermstat housing that i converted back to the 6 rib tensioner for a bit. I have run the 2.8 pulley now though and the truck definitely gets up and moves. Tune is still in the low 10s for AFR and only 11 or 12 degrees, so it has a lot in it still. Kids and vacation may make it impossible to get it to the track though.

Looks like it is a tad faster, this is with the 2.8 pulley and more timing in the tune but now leaning out a bit above 5k rpm. Log says that it is ~4.3 seconds 0-60. 1-2 shift at 6500, 2-3 at 6300.

Forgot to mention, the log shows that the converter is flashing to about 2800, but it isn't there for long. I can't really brake it up much further than about 2k before it pushes through.

Yeah, I am hopeful that this will put me into the sub 12.5 range and around 112-114 mph. The 12.5 seems doable since it seems like I cut off a few tenths already in 0-60.
