Had a little issue with the Dub.ONE wheels, the chrome started to crack on the inside of the lip and was having a hard time sealing on the 25 series tires so I offed em and picked up these Dub Forged 24s. First time I've had both trucks at the same place

As soon as the wheels were on I dropped the lift to take it out for a ride and as soon as I started the truck HUGE clouds of white smoke outta the exhaust...... Upon further inspection I believe it's got a head gasket leak the reservoir was empty and you could see coolant coming outta the muffler. 4.8 205xxx miles. The motor ran great I had no idea it would just take a $#!+ so soon

Had a hard time deciding what to do with the transmission, my 60e was fine shifted great and I had an extra rebuilt 60e in my shed. I knew the 6.0 wasn't gonna like the 60e mounted on it so I decided to sell them both off and picked up a rebuilt 4l80e with red eagle clutches and 1 year warranty for $1350. I'll be picking it up Monday and moving forward with the swap. I've already ordered up the extra VSS plug and shipped my PCM out.

Default 6.0 is in

Waiting on the new knock sensors before we can finish up the install, everythings bolted up besides the intake.

Got the 80e home
My brother started welding up the modified cross member

Got the transmission in waiting for the sensor on the drivers side and the bolt and washer for the yolk to come in the mail
Installed crossmember
Pulled back out for some paint
6.0 installed everything bolted up ready to go waiting on the PCM still. My motor is a LQ4 but I found the LQ9 Cadillac cover cheap so I worked a deal on it.

The first set of Dubs were hot on white. What’s the foreseeable end goal for your war wagon?

Thanks I liked the first rims way more myself so I was bummed when they started to leak on me, this trucks just about done for me it's just my daily. Maybe a little audio system after all this swap and I'm good to go. I've got my 6.0 OBS I'd like to get back to were gonna do a little turbo setup on that one.
