I keep leaning more towards the 5.13s, the only thing I was concerned about was cruising at 70-75 at 2700-2800rpm. But last time I was worried about cruise rpms I went 4.11 when I should have went 4.56 with the 33s so apparently I am not a good judge of what is too much lol. I haven't had anything quite that aggressive before but I think it would be fine. Anyone have experience running similar rpm to that at cruising speeds?

I think you will be just fine. 2500 is nearly 70 MPH . You will be an good RPM range while towing as well.

Yeah when pulling the boat I bet I will like as much RPM as possible in OD. Plus it will actually be fun playing around in 1st and 2nd on the street with the 5.13s. I can almost do 100mph in 2nd right now which is just laughable. I appreciate the input, I think those will be the gears to go with. I plan to pull the diffs apart this off-season and have it ready for the spring.

I have seen a couple threads with people talking about the 5.13s being weak because of how small of a pinion they run, but I haven't seen a lot of evidence of them breaking. I mean if I was really worried about having a bulletproof setup I would swap the 10 bolt out completely so I'm assuming I shouldn't be too worried?

Save the regearing money, put towards a blower

This thread was a joy to go through, great pictures. Definitely should put some exhaust video together on that setup. Cold start, warm idle, rev ups and if you are really into it, some in the cab driving sound would be cool.

You really had to tempt me like that didn't you. Bringing up blowers again. Do you want me to get a divorce? Is that what you want? Haha

Yeah I will definitely get something thrown together. Idk if I will get any driving video because they have been dumping liquid salt on the bridges and stuff. But I will try to get something up soon!

Don't even ruin the truck for a video. Keep it inside, I can wait

Gears first though!

Not sure how we've missed this build thread up until now. This is an awesome build and thread you have going here OP. Also, what a spectacle of a shop you and your family have built to work out of!
