2003 Silverado RCSB Z71 6.0/ZL1 Blower & 4L80e/NP241 Swap

Finally got around to cutting a hole in my transmission tunnel to install the factory style floor shifter. Also removed the factory AutoTrac buttons and installed a toggle to activate the front actuator manually. This way I can also have '2Lo' for backing up my travel trailer in tight spaces.

It looks innocent until you hear it. Speed Engineering mufflers are not nearly enough to quiet the truck down. I get asked all the time if the truck is straight piped. I have an appointment tomorrow with a muffler shop. Either going to add two Magnaflow knockoffs, or one large 22x11x5" dual in/out suitcase muffler.

Yesterday was the first time I was able to do a AWD launch, even then it was on a crappy stretch of road in the sticks. I will say this, ****** could probably hook in a car wash. Did two launches, first one I footbraked until 2k and let it go, 2nd from a dig, no footbraking. Both dead hooked and booked. My fiance went along and brought a glass of water, she was wearing it after the first test hit.

Since then I fixed the bypass from not sealing (about 8.5-9.0 psi now), moved the HX a bit and got the IAT down to 120 (with 100 ambient temps), and bumped the timing to 16 degrees.
I am planning on going to the track either this month or October.
