I haven't gotten the parts yet
And yes those are big *** washers as shock mounts.

looked at a stock 2wd 6 lug hub and a 98 vette hub at work today. the 3 bolt mounting points are farther apart. the truck hub is just bigger in general.

Do yourself a favor since you want to race it. Call your local track and have the lead tech inspector drop by and tell you what he thinks.

I been reading through this, have to say i give the kid some credit for taking a truck and cutting it the **** up. I do not agree with all the stuff he is doing( or how it is being done) Worst case is the springs blow out, he loses suspension. Truck will still track strait. Every one has to learn imo. It's not like he is trying to build a TB out of schd 80 pipe, or taking the brakes off for weight reduction.
