Presently have a 2000 Chey 1500 LS extended cab truck with a 4.8L engine. would like to upgrade to 6.2L engine. Anyone been down this road. If so any suggest. I've been thinking 6.2 LSX engine with a Edelbrock E-force intercooled supercharge. Beefing up the present transmission to handle the extra HP and torque? I believe this truck style and ride is one to the best designs Chevy ever put on the road and plan to keep this truck until it runs no more (hopefully forever?)

Also, I don't know anything about the edelbrock supercharger. Most people here run the tvs blowers or turbos. Both are proven setups
