Well managed to get a few things done. I got some clear corner lights from ebay that are not the best quality, but look good for now. Also I finally got the hitch off there, had to have the rear exhuast hangers moved since they were welded to the hitch

Also had a friend tell me he had a smooth wiper cowl already painted red so I bought that from him this weekend. Turns out he had purple pearl mixed in with the clear coat, but I still coundn't get it mounted with the hood on so I gave up and reinstalled my
factory one.

Also managed to get the cluster lights swapped to red leds, got a bit of a dead spot around the stop of the speedo, but thats as good as its gonna get. I need to look into the hcav controls and all the other lights like headlight controls and air bag.

Nah, it wont be all sleeper, I've have 5 lowered/bagged trucks in the past. So I can't leave this at stock height. I am having to do the exhaust 1st though. I looked at it good for the 1st time this weekend when I lowered the spare out to get to the hitch better. One of the rear pipes is right over the center section of the axle. So I can't lower it with this exhuast. Looking at headers now to see what I want to run. Looking like cal speed now, and into a magnaflow of some kind.

Throw them in an oven and once the glue is hot you can pull them apart. The orange reflector is seperate and just pops out. I used clear RTV silicon to put them back goether and clamped them down to dry over night. Theres plenty of how to's on a few forums.

Got the molding off the driver side, def not looking forward to the pass side. Worst molding I've taken off and this is 4th or 5th vehicle I've done that too

Also decided to see if these escalade wheels were worth saving that I've had tucked in the garage for awhile. I bought these off craigslist with the understanding 1 tire was ruined by a sidewall blowout. Turns out 3 tires were ruined and 1 wheels was cracked so I never messed with putting them on my Z71, since on this truck I need all new smaller tires anyways I decided to dig them out and look into having them repaired and rechromed or powdercoated.

Those wheels would look good on the truck, but they are STUPID heavy. I used to work at a chevy dealer and handled my fair share of those wheels. I think they are close to 50lbs a piece!!!

Yeah they are somewhere around 88lbs with factory tires. Still not 100% set on them, but gotta get them out of the garage lol.

We had a TON of those wheels get stolen from dealerships around here about a year ago... I bet you could sell those pretty quick worst case!
