Default 2000 RCSB Z71 build super buget

So i thought i would post up my new build. A little background This is my second build, my first one was a turbo 3.8 camaro witch was great but i understand we all need to grow up LOL. My truck is a 2000 silverado z71 4.8l. it has 140k on the clock, i drove the truck in highschool and inherited after my father passed about two year ago.

The plans
  • Suspension:
  • Simple rear block remove
  • 2500HD keys
  • 3rd leaf removal w/caltrac ( later when ever money permits )
  • Rear end cover
  • welding tubes to center carrier

Transmission
  • Full rebuild: race clutch packs, beast sunshell, 2nd & 4th servos, Shift kit. Depending on funds when i get ready to build it the 5 gear planitarys.
  • Stall not sure on yet

Performance:
  • LS1 E-fans
  • ARP Head Bolts
  • ARP Rod Bolts
  • 99' LS1 Cam W/1.8 rockers
  • Gasket Matched stock heads
  • NITROUS 50-100 shot
  • PT6262 Turbo W/Meth Unknown PSI

It is slowly coming together i don't have the buget i had when i built the camaro but hey slowlly but surly i will get there.

Cool build man. I know what its like to be on a budget. Was this previously a nitrous truck or did you recently install it? Keep us updated!

Thank you sir. The nitrous is new to the truck. I got my e fans fully installed last night just need Coolent and I can drive it. The budget for the truck right now is $50-100 a month. Most of the parts you see in the pictures I worked for. I do mechanical, body and paint work so I trade for parts.

You could sell that 6262 for really good coin. The local DSM/Evo guys absolutely love those turbos plus it'd free up some money for other stuff on your list.
