Ported LS3 heads and a 225/230 .617''/612'' 112 cam from TSP which basically is a Comp Cam. With a yank 3000 stall. New oil pump, timing chain, comp cam trunion kit. I have other small parts such as e fans as well.

How is that vette servo working for you? You currently have pretty much same setup as me except the servo and the gears.

Does that core support unbolt and move out of the way fairly easy? If so, I need to go that route next time.

Yea it was easy. Only hard part for me is the long tube headers, not much play.

Wish I had realized that, would have made the engine swap into my old truck easier. Live and learn...

How did your old set up perform?

I like the servo a lot. Definitely a firmer 1-2 shift and a bit firmer 2-3 shift as well. Was an easy mod too but I did it before headers so not sure if they would be in the way now or not. Took me 30 minutes and its only like $20 from Oregon Performance

Been doing some work here and there. Got the block stripped down and did some cleaning on it. Ended up replacing the rod bearrings since i was already there as a cheap insurance. Removed old cam, oil pump, timing chain. cleaned the block, painted the oil pan (will paint block same color). Got the new cam installed, new oil pump, new timing chain. Will put up pictures this week when i get the block painted.
