haha well if i did that i would have to change out the pinion in the rearend, the driveshaft was built for 1350 on both ends so when i change gears ill get a 1350 pinion that way it will be 2- 1350's on the rear and just one combination joint on the front! Hey atomic did you have probs with #2 plug wire like that?

Got some stuff in the works, wanna get a 9" w/ 3.42 gears, narrow the rear end do a tub job and gotta guy who wants to buy my current rims and tires + my whole rearend possibly...... I wanna sell the rims and tires so i can get some good offset, a deep dish and of course more tire for traction when launching.. Debating on a 15' x 12" or 14" wide rim and in the front run a 15 x 6 like i got now... Here are a couple rims im looking at feel free to tell me which u like

both sets are pretty sweet. but if i had to choose id go with the firt set. i just really like the look of the wheel. i think the much black makes them looks good. the five spokes are a bit plain for my taste.

I like the first wheels. Those would look awesome on your truck with that black beadlock ring.

I was leaning towards them myself. They will be in my budget range too once i sell my current stuff... the bead locks set it off IMHO... when i get back from this houston meet ill prolly start getting some stuff together and trying to start on it, i hate downtime with the truck though, but i enjoy doing it!! Cant decide wether to buy rims then narrow rearend or narrow rearend first

I must say this is one helluvua build. I wish I'd have gotten the truck I wanted to do almost this exact build. Can't wait to see the true finished product.

Went to the houston shoot out tonight and said what the hell ill run it! I knew the track was extremely well prepped so i figured id try the old sportsmans on it and pulled of my best time by far.....I was impressed myself with the run because 4 outta 4 passes before at other tracks were 13.4-13.6..... This one made me belive on 7 lbs of boost anything is possible, tried brake boosting to first light then when second yellow lit i hit the two step and line lock slammed the gas and then started Hopping, i was actually laughing my *** off in the truck while it was doing it....Didnt plan on running untill this guy called me out for a friendly race
