pull all the bolts to the oil pan to expose the pick-up tube

pull the oil pump and loosen the pickup tube so you can get the tube out of the bottom of the oil pump (change the o-ring imo, it's cheap)

take the tensioner out and replace with your new one

put it all back together...

you'll need a 13mm deep drive socket for the pick up tube nuts, 10mm deep drive with a 6" extension for the cover, the oil pan, and the oil pump. the pick-up tube is a lil weird so take your time taking the bolt out.

my wiring harness, Circle D 3000 have arrived. my fuel pump should be here thursday. i just ordered my custom LTs in black so i can powdercoat them.

i should have the engine installed wed an the harness ready to be installed. im cutting the fuel lines down to get it ready for the SS line an corvette filter.
im putting an on/off switch for the fuel pump power lead...just a lil safety...

well a small update...ran into a snag with the fittings i needed oh well

heads are on
pushrods adjusted
water pump on
valve covers on
set up for a test fit tomorrow
the fittings i needed ordered
got my fuel line
order V band clamps
got harness, fuel pump, an stall home

gonna go pick up some chain in a little bit bc i dont have a lift plate.
imma test fit the motor today.
also i have an LS7 valley cover...there's an oil sender screen that goes in before the sensors? of so its not the same as the LS2 screen that i ordered. or the sensor i have is too long..i guess ill have to wait an see when its time for the wiring harness.
