Made a little more progress...got my harness back from getting reworked....the tranny was rebuilt and got my alternator/power steering bracket in and painted...

Started getting her wired up today... Ordered my torque converter, radiator, fan and some misc stuff...should be installing transmission this coming weekend...

Looking good brother. I have an 86 slash 82 that i swapped a 5.3 th350 etc into. Did everything myself even the harness. If you have any questions i have answers lol. Good luck on the build.... your going to love it.

Nice progress. Can't wait to see another 73-87 swap hit the road. What throttle cable are you going to use ? The 36" lokar from summit works great and looks good. Have to cut, clock and weld your pedal rod where the cable attaches but its easy and takes like half hour.

Thanks man..I can't wait to get it running either...ya that's the throttle cable I am using and I've already cut and rewelded my throttle pedal..just have to cut the cable and install it..hopefully get it done this weekend..
