well the guy with the LQ4 kinda left me hanging. No big deal I have been sicker than hell the last 2 weeks.

I should have my new steering parts in today and will be picking up a different engine from FASTRT tomorrow.

Waiting on a few things at work to come through and I should be ordering all the parts to get most of the engine stuff together.

Updates to follow soon.

Set the truck back down and have the engine sitting at 2.5* and I have about 3/8th clearance in 2 areas on the top portion of the bellhousing. Also test fit the steering column and all looks good so far. I think I will take the time now to fab the crossmember with the gutted 60e so when I build the it I can just bolt her in. Also plan on fabbing up the bracing for the column drop and finalize the columns location. Also plan on buying the shifter from Lokar and getting that mounted in place.

It may not be the traditional Hot Rod engine, but looks quite at home in there, especially with the induction system you have chosen to go with. And while it may not be the traditional hot rod engine of choice, I bet it will put most to shame just the same, power, fuel economy and drive-ability wise when it’s said and done.

Excellent choice if you ask me!
