Default 06 z71 project

Well first off let me say my names mark and im new to the site. Basically i wanted to share my plans and see what kind of feedback i get. I have a 06 crew cab z71 with a 5.3 its stock other than a tune and 100 shot. Ive always wanted the awd ss trucks but i have a little boy on the way and want the extra room of the crew cab. Ive decided im gonna swap my transfer case and front dif with one out of an ss and i wanna build a 6.0 to drop in ( this is a long term goal) ive already got my drop keys and everything to lower the rear. I just want to see what everyone else thinks about it and if yall think its worth it.

Swap the 6.0 and save the $ you would spend for t case for more goodies on the 6.0 There's plenty of guys doing high hp launches on 4x4 t cases without issues. Do some research on here, theres lots and lots of good useful info

Welcome!
Just get a 6.0 and swap it in.. Leave your Tcase and Front end under there.
Push the 4wd button and hammer down.

Sounds like a good plan!

If it were me I would turbo the 5.3 and plam to install an 80e trans.
