Over the past few weeks I installed the wood trim, Some NNBS Front brake rotors and calipers using the Power Stop kit, upgraded the brake lines to stainless steel braided as well.

Here is some info on the Rx7. This is my other lover, that likes to drain your savings account faster then a old person in a strip club with dementia. Single turbo gt3582r with a upgraded exhaust wheel, Haltech elite 2500 ecu, custom motorsport harness, vmount intercooler and radiator. Converted to DBW throttle using a ZL1 Camaro a TB and gas pedal, On the dyno it made 325 RWHP on pump gas tuned by me. Boost is pretty conservative, with the engine being completely stock, no port work done using stock Mazda seals. Doing some dyno runs. vmount, single turbo setup
https://www.bitrim.com/ Quality was actually surprising considering a lot of those wood trim kits look terrible don't fit right and fall apart. Almost a factory match to the original wood, I would highly recommend to spice up the interior.
Any pics of the dyno graph? Interested to see how the torque curve looks, I haven’t messed around with any rotaries but 325whp is pretty solid and I’m sure it sounds killer.
I was pretty nervous on the dyno, My 1st time my self doing pulls on one i completely forgot to tell the guy that runs the dyno to setup the torque curve and he only started logging the hp curve at 4000 rpm so it doesn't show much on sheet lol. For sure next time I will be tuning the ignition map advance some of the timing and really dialing in the torque curve. also will run some higher octane gas just for the extra knock protection when doing the ignition these engines don't take kindly to any knock or detonation...
I feel you man. Dyno tuning was really stressful for me when I first started doing it, especially because my customers cars are never prepared and always have **** breaking so I’m sitting there fixing stuff while the dyno cost $100 an hour to rent, same guys do the same **** month after month, blows my mind they will try to cheap out on a $8 coupler and spend an extra $50 for the time the car was sitting on the dyno while I’m fixing it.

when i cam swapped my 1st zo6 i was still pretty green to internal engine the tuner told me it has to be ready so i wanted to make sure everything was correct went over it a few times i was ready took it in told him look it over with confident! he looked at it for a few minutes looked at me and told me its not ready confidants shattered i was like what??? he told me look for myself when i did i felt all of a sudden i was looking at an eye chart with out my glasses he started laughing at me i felt 2" tall i must of seen it written all over my face he said it looks right everything is in place but you installed the injector clips in upside down lol he then told me some of the stories like you mentioned of what some guys have done before coming to the dyno wire ties ratchet straps some pretty amusing and some very dangerous
Yep. I’ve seen zip ties instead of radiator hose clamps, I’ve seen the exhaust flex tubing someone tried to run as charge piping. Lol. Always cracks me up the crap people come up with and the funny thing is it’s usually the cars with a good amount of money in them. Most of the junky eBay turbo cars are actually ready to roll and all I have to do when tuning them is actually tune them not fix stuff for a few hours
I’m very excited to announce I’m planning the next stage of the build!!! After discussing back and forth with dantheman1540 we agreed to go with the torqstorm centrifugal supercharger, but 1st these upgrades will need to be accomplished
-detroit trutrac for the rear not sure to stay with 373 gears yet
-fuel system convert to return style
-60lb injectors
-Walboro 450 fuel pump
- fuel pressure regulator
-The truck will get a baseline Dyno run to see the beginning numbers.
-Then the torqstorm will be installed non inter cooled and another Dyno run to see how it does
-Finally a trick performance intercooler to see those final numbers
