Well i guess ill finally get around to posting up a build thread. But iv had everything done over the past year pretty much and all the modding is just about complete but stuff always breaks and im always horsepower hungry so ill prolly never just leave it alone but anyway ill give yall a short run down on what all iv done over the past year and please dont flame me too hard about 90% of the crappy pics because i took them on my old phone and the camera sucks. Also never think about taking pics most of the time...

Started out with 5.3/60e 3.42s and peg leg. I have always modded the truck with simple crap and used to race all the trucks like mine around here alot and pretty much win all the time so that always led me to spending money on more stuff going faster. my first real mod was a tune from Geoff at EPS and shortly after cam a set of LPP long tubes. I think the best at that time was like a 14.9 and unknown mph. I was happy for a little while. Then i got a little more serious and wonted a converter so i got me a circle d 278mm with a shift kit and sonnax servos and around the same time me and a buddy swapped rear ends( he had4.10s/g80) and man i thought i was the king of the streets around here lol. I think around this time i was running somewhere around a 14.4-14.5 and it felt great for a heavy truck. But like always i wonted to step it up again so i ordered a Hsw wet nitrous kit. For some reason i was always scared of nitrous and never have sprayed more than 100 shot but that led me to run somewhere around 13.6-13.7 range.
So about a year after all that is when my current build started. I searched around and was looking for a 6.0 for my truck and found one in La for a pretty good price so i bought that sucker and i didnt think to open it up just to look at the condition it was in. but the morning me and Nonnie where going to do the swap we opened it up and it looked like a mixture of a swamp and horse ****. Water was in the cylinders and rust on the cam. It was junk so i called the junk yard up and gave them hell and them made it right for me and found a 6.0 lq4 in texas with 70k on the clock and they paid the shipping for the junk motor back and the new one to me. I believe i have $1050 in everything.
So by the time i got it a month or so had passed and nonnie had talked me into a 80e swap so we could do it all at once. I went to local junkyard and they had several and went with cash and walked away with the 80e and a extra 2 peice drive shaft for the swap for $650.
My original plan was a good cam/nitrous truck but then again nonnie talked me into going turbo...
So my plans with the bigger cam changed and i got up with Jarret(stock48) and he got me the Isky 212/212-112 and some springs. Thanx !
So on to swap attempt number 2 at nonnies house.
Earlier that week we had opened up the motor and installed the cam and springs so it would be set when we got ready to work.
And It was a long day of work...
Out with the 5.3/60e and in with the 6.0/80e

21 Hours Later pretty much non stop other than eating breaks we had that sucker back together with a base tune so i could go home and sleep... lol
I rode like this for around 3 months saving money for the turbo kit and ran it at the track a coulple times getting a 14.1 n/a. i thought it was great with that big heavy stock 80e converter.
Early december i got up with kyle about building me a kit so i sent him some money and waited. So in the meantime i was gathering other parts like injectors and cold side setup since i was going behind the grill with it. Then earlier than expected kyle hurried up with my kit and was done right before christmas so i was pumped and got it a few days after so it was the best xmas ever lol.

Started out with his standard hot parts with 3.5 " down pipe and a magnum t76 q trim turbo.
Couple weeks later i had enough parts to move on with the install so one night i started with the cold side to get that out of the way. Its a ebay intercooler and 3" universal piping kit and it was pretty decent i thought. i just ordered some extra 90 degree couplings for tight turns and stuff.

So i had all that done and i gave it a day or so and i started with the rest of the turbo install...

Wont bore you guys with too many of those kind of pics cuz we all know what a turbo kit looks like now days lol
So soon after i had the exhaust welded up and drove up to nonnies again so he could do some tuning on it so i could finally make some boost.
we tuned on it slowly for prolly 4-5 hours on 6 psi and it was really happy with it. I was instantly addicted to the sound and performance of the turbo.
But knowing me again i got the more horespower itch and wanted to up the boost to like 10-11 pounds and only the 2cd week of having it on there lol.
It was fun for sure and the cold weather at the time made it pull nice and good. Id assume i was making around 450 ish hp maybe. The tune was very safe and iats where kinda high from the cheap intercooler and the small turbine choking out above 5000 rpms.
So for a few months i was happy and i think i managed a 12.80 or so on slicks and 10# of boost. After that i got the itch to spend some money on a converter and a new fancy turbo. I ended up getting a billet Circle D 3b 3400 and a precision pt 7675 cea. I had the turbo on for around a month before i put the converter and transgo hd2 shift kit in. The new turbo was alot better up top. I was impressed with the gains on my lq4.Nonnie did only ve changes pretty much to get the fueling in order and didnt really take advantage of the spark just yet. But then it was time to get the converter in and that got finished up on a friday and the next day we all made the trip to Lena to see what it would do.
Ended up getting a best of 12.05 @ 112 1.75 60ft.
Thats the last time iv been on the track and thats been months ago.
I have since bought efi live and a devils owns meth kit to keep my iats in check and iv been needing to tune my self for a while now and its been a great learning experience. I love tuning now and since i put the meth on and added several degrees timing in it feels like a whole new beast. I feel like i can now reach my 11 second goal easy in my heavy body.
The precision 7675

Now on to the most Current part of my build. I have the truck in a local body shop getting all the dents and dings pulled out and adding some good looks to it as well.
The truck is getting a new color(Victory red) along with a cowl hood, sport mirrors, paint matched everything pretty much, smooth tail gate cap, and it gonna have a set of silver stripes on the hood that will look just like this below (buddys truck). they follow the shape of the cowl hood and have pinstripes around them

Already been a coulple week without my baby and cant wait to see how it turns out. ill keep this thread updated and will post pics in the next week hopefully!
