soooooooo is this thing done yet?!? just read your whole thread and it sounds incredible. also I might have missed it, but what did you do with the marcillano rims and when is the HD front end getting put on? can't wait to see this thing fully finished man

Oh man sorry guys for not updating this its been a long while...
Thanks yeah the truck is running and driving very well I'm pretty happy with it. Due to a change of jobs and not working this past month and a half have not put the turbos on yet just to have some back up money for the time being. But I assure you this thing will be boosted when I start my new job. But so in the mean time I stuck a little nitrous kit on it to have some fun. For the front end I have decided to go with the new body colored All terrain grille and have put the Macellinos aside for the lighter smaller Trailblazer ss replicas. Mainly because a lot of people around here have the hd front already and have yet to see anyone local with the body matched all terrain stuff. Ill snap some pics of the grille here in a bit but heres what the front of the truck will look like all color matched...
Had a lot of fun was my first time to the TX2k events so was all new to me. Went 12.4s @110 with a 1.8 60 at the track on some really shitty and corroded plugs but overall felt alright for a low compression boost motor. I have since changed the plugs out to some new TR7s and damn did it make a difference. Marked out 1/4 mile has me passing the traps around the 120 mark so not to bad for a 150 shot. Def have had some fun on the spray gotta love the instant hit out the hole in 4hi lol. Did play too much on the street as i went up there with some friends in vettes so rode with them most of the time.
Transmission of choice is gonna have to be a 4l80 at this point as I have yet to find a 6l80 that is gonna be up to the future task but you never know might want to see how far I can push this 6 speed. NOW I will say this my stock 6l80 is STILL going strong and I'm actually pretty amazed by it. It is untouched besides being tuned and upgrading the cooler. It has repeatedly taken nitrous 4hi launches boosted 4hi launches and just keeps going not missing a beat. Really surprised seeing my truck is around the 5500 lb range on 22s and has been ran in 4hi 99% of the time just about every weekend since I bought it new in 2 years ago. I have a few videos and pictures I need to post. I have changed a few things like my exhaust but nothing too major just been driving the truck lately and enjoying it.

Thats basicly all I have for now but ill keep this thread updated more often. Ill post some pics of the new exhaust finally got around to installing the QTP cutout and put on the new Flo-Pro Vmaxx replacement muffler. I know some of you have asked about it in other threads. Ill post up some videos so you can get a sense of what they sound like. Anyways stay tuned as means of boost might change. My buddies here local became Procharger dealers and want to put a new F1X on it so might go that route still undecided turbos are soooo much fun but the simplicity and cost of the complete F1X with a COG setup is hard to beat. will see which way I go with it. Either way I need BOOST badly with how well it reacted with nitrous I can just imagine with double the power. Next mods are the fuel system, convert to L99 Camaro front accessories, Hydroboost and of coarse BOOST. Stay tuned...
