Thank you everyone so much. Went to a clinic yesterday and to my regular doc today. Turns out I do have the flu although I'm maybe on the good side of it by now. He said too late to treat it specifically but gave me a steroid shot and a zpac for good measure. In the 5.5 hrs since the shot I'm starting to perk up already. I've decided I'm going to go for it. May have to lower my goals a few lbs but I'm still going for the National record as of now. Thanks to God and you guys!

Any tips on getting over the tendinitis? Other than stop lifting and rest, because, you know, that's not what I want to hear or do!

Some light exercise just to promote blood flow, then ice afterwards always helps mine, never heat.

It's my right arm/elbow and I've been trying to use my left arm for as much as possible during the day. I've been icing it in the evening and then I have a neoprene wrap that I've been sleeping in. The wrap is adjustable so, I just wrap it with some medium pressure and let it ride, although, overnight maybe too long to leave it on...? I've been thinking about getting some of the rubber floss bands to wrap it tight, get the blood flowing then take the wrap off, see if that changes anything.
