Have this kit I bought part #82231 on there web site anyone else have this kit? How do you like it

 

My opinion stay away from zex period.. Seen a lot of stuck solenoids ..

 

Not a good idea. Check out Nitrous outlet they will get you hooked up for less money often and definatly a better product.

 

What's so bad about the kit ?

 

The noids are known to fail, they aren't upgradeadble and just over all don't have a good reputation.

 

I have a Nitrous Express kit on my truck and it works great!

 

I guess there could be trouble with any brand kit sometimes. I've had a Zex nos system for 3 years and haven't had a problem at all.I like there perimeter plate better than any other and I'm sure if I have a problem with soeniods I might look into others. As for my experience , they work fine. When the truck was a 4.3 injected I ran 100 shot Zex , worked great. Now that it is a stroked 6.0 " CARBED ". I have a Edelbrock progressive controller and still no problems with the Zex soleniods. I've ran up to 200 shot so far with no problems. Even ran 200 shot with a dual plane manifold. Worked just fine. Have a Super Victor Jr now and plan on a 300 shot this year. Thats my experience with Zex. Good luck with what ever kit you decide to go with. NOS is a kick in the BUTT.
