I love your truck charlie. That's where we're hoping to end up with truck but using a plate. We're either gonna do it or break the 4L60 trying lol

Point taken. Anyone have a simple explination? I don't see why you couldn't pull the turbo off a car and put an equal amount of nitrous and make the same power?

The components of a nitrous system will only flow so much. The lines, solenoids, bottle valves are only going to flow so much.

Take pro mods for example. While they may run close in times, look at the mph of a turbo car vs. a nitrous car. there may be a 5-10mph maybe even more difference in them. MPH=HP. The nitrous car may 60' better and get to the 330' better but the turbo car is building steam and comin on strong.

They're both fun.. nitrous guys typically have credit card debt as well... we like to pay things as we go instead of all up front I personally don't have the patience to settle down and save money to build a turbo kit even though we do it for people all the time... Not to mention i can't live with spending 1000+ dollars on a fuel system for big boost!!! Cause when i go boost i'm going BIG!

hahaha no credit card debt here for me but I know what you mean and I'm in the same boat as you as far as wanting to go big. If go back to a turbo, its gonna cost some dollars. My main things are, I don't want to half *** it and I don't want like my truck being down for long periods of time

I loved the turbo I had on my truck, but for the type of racing we do around here, it won't cut it. We have 660' to make it happen and I need all my power in as soon as I can get it there, not a the very end. And thats why I love my bottle

I went nitrous because I got a smoking deal on the kit and it has a certain cool factor about it. But due to Canadian laws regarding it, demand is low and regulations are high. Cheapest I can fill a 10# bottle is about $75. But I don't care what it runs at the track, I might go once a year. It's just a street toy, I'm on my 2nd bottle in 3 months so for now it's still cheaper. My next all-out build will be boost though.

Im a nitrous guy myself. I dont have alot im my setup but i do find deals on pretty much everything. Im currently spraying 150 but do have the 200 jets awaintin. Turbos just cost way to much for my taste. Anyways, who on here is spraying 200+ through a stockish 6.0?
