Huh... sounds like you may not be getting enough fuel. Might want to head back to your dyno tuner

Do you know what your IDC was when you were tuning the dry shot? With that cam, and headers + a 100 dry shot you may be maxed out.... I may be wrong, but worth asking your tuner.... Where is your nozzle in relation to your MAF?

IDC was low 70's n/a...i didnt get to do a juice run on the dyno. it was still missing a little bit that night, but i have it running well n/a now... but missing with the juice. i need to head back and finish tuning for nitrous.


nozzle is in the end of the filter, pointed straight at the MAF...about 6-7 inches from it. filter is about 5" oval type.... S & B filter

Wow your IDC is low, mine is in the 80's and I don't have a cam, but then again I am runing 28-29* of timing, with a 12.5 AFR... Is your truck a Flex fuel?

no, not any of the 4.8's are flex fuel yet.

and it is running a lot lower timing than yours is.

What software does you tuner use? If he uses EFI Live you might look into him setting you up with a COS with a nitrious switch...

high as eagle *****, i think. and you know how high eagle ***** is.

my buddy filled it, i thought he said he put 7 pounds in it, and its a 5lb bottle....also, when i purged it, i noticed it was a bit liquidy when it came out of the line, not gaseous like usual.

he is using HPtuner... and i dont mind being an all around safe tune for nitrous, i'll give up a few n/a h.p. to spray a 100 more!
