There is a lot of different modifications you can do to any of these engines. Exuast cold air and tune. FOr the 4.3 4.8 and 5.3 they have several differant options. If you have the 4L60E that is a cheap tranny that you can do a lot with. I just put in a billet servo in mine. I paid a mechanic I know to do it. Took him a couple hours but that tranny was waken up. Just call around and see what you can find. There is severl diffarnt options out there for any truck. You just have to know where to look.
