If the MAF was injured/disabled or even frozen at the time, it will not sense the N2O passing by it's wires and therefore, the injectors will not inject the proper amount of additional fuel.

You are correct ... my point was the o2 READINGS are solely from the o2's, it doesn't filter it's readings from any other sensor, it's a direct result of how much oxygen is in the exhaust. More oxygen, lower the reading in mv, lower the reading, the leaner its running.

this entire way of spraying seems like a bad idea to me. too many things to worry about.with a wet kit you put in a jet and are done.
i spray dry by it is completely different. the computer(megasquirt) is actualy comanding the nitrous to come on and is adding a preset amount of fuel for me once it comes on. i tried going dry thru the maf and it just didn't work well and this was just with a 75shot.
there are huge gains to be had with moderate shots on these trucks, especialy if you do silly things like spray it at lower rpms with a stock stall. i gained about 2.5sec's with just a 100shot on my truck when it was stock. 16.4 down to a 13.9

Well, it hit way too hard. Just roasted the tires and then I ran into some other problems.
The nitrous is just blowing thru the target shift points. I had it set for 5200 in first gear and it hit the fuel shut off of 6100. I forgot to raise this... New tune.
Then, it shifted into 4th gear.
I had my all-motor shift points set... Tought night.
100 shot out of the hole

, and a lowly4.8. put those 2 things together and you have a prety slow truck off the line. i was spraying the truck right out of the hole with a 100shot and geting big gains in my 60'time. i am 4wd too so traction wasn't an problem. spraying off the line with a stock converter is prety risky, dont do it if a broken piston or a small backfire is going to ruin your day.the more mods you have and the faster your truck is NA the less the nitrous seems to help but it is still a killer bang for the buck mod.
