Safe to Spray?
#11
This idea to spray ways just an alternative I was kicking around using in the mean time while saving cash for the front mount turbo setup which is going to be the next addition soon. The spray may then be useful for ridding lag and keeping iat's down. I guess Ill just have to see.

Yeah, a couple of deployments Iraq with the military will kinda make all else take a back seat. The motor is running strong and reliable, went through a few cam changes for fun and experimentation purposes. That MS4 cam just didn't like the low compression of the LQ4. I ended up with something like 220/224 at 118+4 It will do without spray....for now.

i bet the MS4 pulled great up top? but the 220/224 prolly feels alot better thru the rpm range?

That MS4 cam screamed up top but could have used the spray in the lower rpm's when felt like I was staring at my wristwatch waiting for it the cam to get into its peak range. The 220/224 pulls strong in the lower rpm's with a wider range.
