Post safe nitrous?

hey i need some help... umm as far as nitrous goes i have a few questions. im a total newbee to nitrous. all i know is my buddys run it in their ls1's and they skat. ok is it safe for a motor with over 100k miles? how big of a shot is it safe to run. and do you have to replace the injectors? thanks

First of all run a wet system so you dont have to worry about making up for fuel needs with the injectors. Wet systems spray nitrous and fuel in the intake. 100 shot will be fine. I sprayed a 100 shot on my 5.3 with full bolt ons and a cam and had no problems. I recently pulled the 5.3 to make way for a 418 and when I pulled the heads off you could still see the factory cross hatch and the tops of the pistons were not melted at all.
