LOL, LOW_LQ4 asked what your mods are because it's very important to guess how much time you will drop. He knows what he is talking about

A 1 second drop on a 16 second truck is pretty easy to do, but a 1 second drop on a 12 second truck is much much harder to do.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work like you think it does. Horsepower and drop in E.T. are not directly proportional.

x2 on that even when i had cam headers tc etc which i never put all that on i wouldve had to of jumped too a 150 shot to hit o say mid low 12's.. my intentions was a 2 stage 200 but that mite come back around too do that with other mods.

there is no reason to see what other people are running in the 1/4, like some one else said, you can have the exact same truck with the exact same mods and go 1 second slower than the other truck. the best anyone can do is ball park your numbers and even then, that number can still be way off. and yes, its much easier to get a 16 second truck to go 15's than its is for a 12 second truck to go 11's. it takes much more horsepower, traction, etc (just like the other person said). hp +tq do not go hand in hand with E.T.s and MPH. (im not trying to be a dick)

Well anyone ballpark my numbers isn't nearly as accurate as what a similar shot of nitrous on a similar truck has done. Again we aren't able to pinpoint a time but you can make an educated guess. If I have 10 people who have times ranging from .7 to 1.4 then 1 sec is a reasonable goal. Obviously the rule of 100 hp nitrous is 1 sec in the quarter came from somewhere. Either someone's *** or from real numbers put down by real cars/trucks. This is what I am trying to see if the rule holds true in the real world.

My converter was picked for nitrous so I have a good chance to be on the high side of gains. I am either going on the 7th of Oct. or the 21st. Probably the latter of the two but I am going to see if I can make it next wed.

If anyone has numbers I am still interested.

They aren't directly proportional but again they are closely related.

I am not going to continue to debate this issue. If people have numbers thanks if not thanks anyhow. I have gotten good info from this and other forums so I am content that I have a great potential to shave off a full seccond or more. That is what I was looking for. Again when I have numbers here in a few weeks I will let everyone know how it works out.

Wow this is the least I have seen so far. Were you already running really fast times or did you have traction problems?

That's not important.
