But your sure the hell dont need a Progressive to do that! A window switch will do just fine. So if you really a re just looking to save the tranny its not worth the $

Yes it is worth the money, My buddy runs a 300 shot in his 408 and that just helps the shock that it would see if it wereto hit all at once. I would run one no mattter what.

The initial torque spike caused by nitrous is whats so hard on the engine and transmission parts. A progressive controller will do more for your transmission than a window switch. Think of it as someone punching you in the face with all of their power, then imagine them punching you with 25% of their power. That is an example of what progressive can be. Now with just a window switch, you are still getting the same torque spike, but you just control when it cuts on and off. They both will help, but the progressive controller will help more IMHO. You can let go of the button on the shifts.

Go with the progressive if you dont have a built tranny. I spray out of the hole and through the shifts btu I have 1800 bucks in hard part upgrades alone in my transmission.
