Only picked up 85WHP on a 150 shot?
#1
I have recently been dynoed and on 150 wet shot of spray I only picked up 85RWHP I thought this was low. I decided to give the company a call told them bottle was full and psi was 950-975 right around there and that I had pulled 6 degrees of timing out total. Right then he said the timnig was my problem he said LS engine dont require any timing being pulled till you go past 150 shot have any of you ever heard of this? I have always heard of 2 degrees per 50hp any of you guys got any input on this.

what tuning? how are you pulling timing? Is your tune at max timing already or stock timing and pulling 6*?
Depending on how much timing you are running you may not have to pull any at all....so his response isn't necessarily incorrect.

The description of what modifications and what changes made to the tune that are given to us about the truck is to broad to not give them the benefit of the doubt. I am sure the nitrous company asked or they wouldnt be in business long

actually, thats the manufactuer of my base kit (I know I made a impulse purchase, should have waited for a Nitrous Outlet). Also some manufactuers rate flywheel horsepower and not rear wheel horsepower. If wanting a true 150 just up the jets and get the fuel and timing right....
