NOS Vs TNT Vs ZeX
#2
I now have a nitrous pro flow setup its what they use in PA classes of NHRA. I have had experience with pretty much all kits except ZEX and Harris's kit. I stepped up to the really expensive kit due to the size shot Im using but some of their smaller noids would make for a damn good kit. I also had a ny-trex kit and it was great, good looking too. Find a dealer for them you can get them about 200 cheaper than on their website.

i dont have a nitrous setup but ive done a TON of reading. i would stay away from zex just from feedback in other posts. i couldnt bring myself to put that sissy purple bottle in my truck either
the nytrex setup looks badass but not that many people are using it in the states for some reason. also check out cold fusion. im sure nxricky, nitrous dave and all of those guys will chime in here soon to throw in their sales pitch. listen to them cuz they know their

Harris speed works makes a great entry level kit. I'm also fond of NX. I think for the entry level sprayer, either of these two would be your best bet.
Stick with the wet shot.

Slow brings up a good point stay with a wet shot IMO its safer. The reason not very many run the ny-trex kit is because it is fairly new and is just getting out there. Be looking for their kits on ALOT more pro cars.

The only kits I have experience with are NOS and Compucar. The NOS dry kits often have small solenoids and they don't last very long. The larger systems come equipped with better ones and those seem fine. Compucar's kits, when last I needed anything, were covered by a lifetime warranty. This is helpful if they still offer it, because when the rather pricey solenoids go, you can get a new one at no charge. Of course, it'll still cost you the time and effort of the hassle involved in replacement, but it saves money.
I have also installed wet and dry kits. There's more to the wet systems, but they are far better overall. You will need to follow installation rules more closely with them, but it's worth the effort because they generally offer more overall power.
Footnote: I haven't installed any nitrous systems in yrs now. I've only had to make adjustments to things here and there. I have no doubt things have changed since I last looked at a new kit.

just go with one of our sponsors. i have a custom built kit with parts and pieces from a few different companies. if i had it to do again i would have compared the kits being offered from the sponsors. i prefer a wet shot.
