I was wondering if on a 2001 Chevy ecsb w/5.3 long tubes and ory and cai.IFthe newer ls6 cam and springs and a 100 shot would work well together?
And if a zex wet kit with a nozzle and there active fuel control. and is 599 a good price or should i go with a diff. system. Thanks

 

I would run a bigger cam, but it would be better than stock. I would look into a Dave's plate kit too. or harris, but I like dave's cause i use it and they are close to me.

 

Cam will be OK but I would look at bigger for the money!

Don't buy ZEX you can save money and get a much better kit from many other places. Mostly the sponsors on these forums.

 

I ran zex kit back in the day with no issues. On 75 shot gain 10 MPH and 1.2 seconds off my time

thanks for the replies what do the other nitrous kits use to add fuel when ur using nitrous with out using just a nitrous tune. And wanting to run the ls6 cam cause its a dd i want a little more power out of and not wanting to do a torque converter. thanks

 

Well the cam will be fine if it suits you wants.

All other wet systems will add fuel. If you want to be safe a timing controller would be good but with a stock tune you can run a 100 hp shot without any issue. Race gas would help if you want extra insurance..
