Its alot harder to blow your engine with a wet kit. A dry kit gives you alot better chance of leaning out oyur engine burning mpistons and all kinds of good stuff. Spend the extra money and get a wet kit. All it is is jusrt hosse from the shrader valve on the pass side of the intake to the solenoid wherever you decide to mount it. Also get a fuel pressure gauge and a fuel pressure safety switch so if your fuel pressure starts to drop too low the nitrous will be cut off and no damage to your engine.

Thanks for the help. How easy is it to mount the solenoids hidden
You know for the sleeper effect
I figure having a Z-71 helps with that a little. Most people arent looking for a 13 sec 4x4

Also, what if any changes, besides spark plugs, will I need to make. i plan to go with a bigger cam, and a head swap in the future will this matter? I plan to stay aroune 100-125 shot.

No everything else will be fine since you already have the normal mods. Cam wil be fine just talk to someone about your cam choice and let them know you will be spraying. As far as mounting them hidden I really dont think you will be able too since it will be still have the nitrous and fuel hoses going to the intake tube. You could get really creative and maybe be ably to hide it somewhere but I seriously doubt it. Just stick with keeping the hood closed like I do. I know have surprised quite a few folks with my big as Z putting a few lengths on them. You might want to get your timing retarded a little and get some high quality spark plug wires so you will have a little better spark and gap them at .035.

I have had a dry kit on my truck for the last 3 years and havent had any problems with it although I have kept it pilled down to a 100 shot. If you decide to go dry, you need to keep an eye on you injector duty cycle. After doing full boltons and a small cam, I had to change mine to keep from maxing them out. Now with plenty of injector, I am running out of fuel pump but it could be aproaching the end of it's life too. Another thing with dry nitrous is positioning the nozzle far enough from the meter to keep from freezing it. 8-10" is usually enough depending on the size of the shot.
