I'm thinking of maybe throwing some nitrous on the truck in the next few months...probably start off with a 100 shot and then see how I like it and then maybe at the track throw in some 150 jets:driving3:
What do you think would be the best thing to do and what kind of set-up..
strictly for track use, after I'd take the bottle out when not at the track and re-flash it for the all motor tune.
How exactly does it work.... will it spray every time I shift gears or just once like you see in the movies (at high RPMS)???
thanks

Talk to Rick at trickperformance. They have a window switch that will only allow the nitrous to spray on WOT and can be set to only spray at certain RPM ranges. He also provides GREAT customer service. He has even helped me with products that I didn't buy from him.

With a window switch you set the circuit to open or close at your choice of rpm. For example mine is set to come on at 3000rpm and go off at 6400rpm. Of course you can only spray while you are WOT and there are a couple of different types of switches for that, I have a mechanical switch on my pedal.
So with my set up 3 criteria need to be met for the system to operate.
1. I have to "arm" the system.
2. The throttle has to be wide open
3. rpm has to be above 3000 below 6400 (you can set what you like)
I don't think it's anything like the movies, it's much better!

It will engage when your at wide open throttle. To control when it sprays you use a window switch, it will engage/disengage the N20 at preset RPM, for example 3000rpm-6000rpm, it will spray at wide open throttle from 3000 rpm to 6000 rpm.

all those window switches are overated!!!!!!!! just use the supplied mircoswitch and let her spray. I mean think about it, its HP! say you added a turbo, and that gave you 100HP at the wheels gain. well that hp is still there even through the shifts right!! so whats so different about nitrous? ITS HorsePower. no need for a window
