N2o with DOD?
Hi everyone, I have (truck in sig) and I'm looking into a plate system from Nitrous outlet. I'm curious as to how the nitrous will react (if any) to my motor that still has the DOD. Will I be more prone to engine failure because of the crappy DOD junk? I plan on deleting it down the road, but my truck only has 20k on it so far.. While I'm at it, what kind of shot should I be good for? The truck is flex fuel too. Anyone have any pics of where they mounted their bottle besides in the bed.

Ive put about 20 bottles thru my motor so far and still going. Still stock internally just have the DOD/AFM deactivated in the tune and closing in on 100k miles. Keep the rpms bellow 5900-6000, the dod lifters dont play well with higher rpms.
Also, check with your tuner and see what he has to say. As far as how much, that will depend on how spot on the tune is. Im only at 100 hp shot but plenty have ran more safely/reliably. Correct spark plugs are important to.
I mounted my bottle under the rear seat were i could just reach back and open/close it from the drivers seat. No pics tho sorry. Dont forget the blow-down tube if you do decide to get a bottle and put in the cab.
