im gona get my truck on a dyno soon and i dont want to time te be retard always even when im not spraying, let me know what u think of that controller to retard time when im on the spray...

I have read and heard it is the one to get.

I sell MSD and it would take (2) separate devices to match that.

And that said--I would still buy the LING!

I believe it even has an output so you can see the timing drop/retard.

It seems to be the best device out there for launching with and without a trans brake as well as retarding timing when used with n2o.

Report back if you end up with it. All of my personal truck projects are back burner right now.

ok thats what i needed to know, i think i`ll buy it then and see how i like it, i only wanted it for time retarding but how exacly does it help me with lauching? i dont have a trans brake...

It has RPM control.

So if you wired the first step to the brake or some other switch, it would only go to say 2000 RPMs if you had that selected.

Otherwise if you were RWD you'd probably brake torque and burn the tires.

Maybe someone else can explain? Call Ling...

ok i havnt gotten the lingenfelter yet, i was told that for what i need, only time retarding theres a cheaper part from msd to do that, does anyone use it? what part number do i need?
