If I were to be looking to do a simple nitrous setup (100-150shot) would this get the job done? and would I need anything else?

yup that will take care of it! make sure you pull some timing out of your tune....typically 2 degrees for every 50hp you plan to spray!

Timing will be done thru an alternate tune I'll load at the track.

 

You cheater you took the easy way out to make power

 

The truck daily's perfect with the current power, just need something extra to keep up with you and diesels at the track.

 

That will make for a great setup to start with!! A lot of people like to add a bottle warmer, pressure gauge and purge kit later on down the road.

I've been eye balling this kit to for some cheap power until I funds allow f/I. Let us know if you pull the trigger.

 

Nitrous express makes nice stuff, but I recommend the ZEX wet kits. 3 wire hook up, built in programmable TPS WOT switch. Super easy to installl and very reliable. I have probably installed 20 of these kits. If you can afford it just get a bottle heater right away. I do not recommend the ZEX bottle heater, its slow and doesnt get very hot. These work very well below.
