Why such fluxuation, I wonder? I'll have to check into that. I wonder if certain states are granted a discount/money, towards cutting the cost of it?

I can't imagine why each state would be terribly different?? Especially since a lot of it is made here...

That's the way it'd seem, but government is *** backwards, nowadays. There was actually a plant that was about 30-35 miles from my house, but it was only in operation for about two months. E85 is actually cheaper now that the plant closed--not that the proximity had anything to do with it, I doubt. Who knows.? Maybe I should ship you guys out a few barrels.

That's the exact scenario here.

E85, Methanol will corrode aluminum.
Methanol will just eat through it over time. That stuff is so corrosive.
I had an aluminum plug in a water/meth tank. (stainless steel tank). Water meth was windshield fluid. 2 years later went to take the plug out, sprung a leak. All the threads on the inside were just gone, and the plugs was so thin it had pushed through just taking it out.

Standalone tank is the way to go, so you can run HI octane fuel while on nitrous, but regular while not. And you don't have to replace your stock pump if it can handle the engine alone. Plus you can play with the fuel pressure on the nitrous side of things to get your air fuel while on nitrous dialed in.
