Ive posted this on the tuning section before and never got any answer. I have a Speed Density Tune
but I'm wanting to run a 2 stage nitrous with having a small dry shot off the line..and having 100 shot come in at 3000..since there is a table in the in efilive that changes air fuel ratio off of the IAC sensor..just have the dry shot come in before the IAT sensor and it would change the air temp and you should be able to change the afr at the temp it changes to..kinda hard to explain..if some one gets my drift would this work??

also ill be using ls1 28lb injectors with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, if turn the psi up to 70 do think i would still have enough room for a 25-50 dry shot on my injectors??

i do know you dont want to spray any lower then 3000 rpms. i would have the first stage kick in at 3k and other stage at maybe 5k but i would just use a single shot for that small of amount
as for the SD, you need a way to keep fuel pressure up and should be fine for added safety i would run a higher octane.
but for youre own thought, a SLP 345hp SS with 28# injectors almost max out the effiencently range of the injectors. and with your 6.0 thats modded i run look for a SVO 30# injectors if you could if you plan on spraying. with my setup im about 72% on motor for my injectors which should leave me plenty of room for my Dry setup
just a thought

The only problem is the amount of time it takes for the IAT to adjust. Obviously the ice cold nitrous is going to knock down the temps but, it took near the entire 1/4 for it to drop 30*... It's going to take some careful tuning if you use the IAT to adjust fueling for the n2o. You have to figure, what if your IAT is reading 100* temps one day or 130*... It would be hard to nail down the tune.
There are some other things you can do, like tricking the computer into thinking the IAT temps are very cold/hot or the ECT that way you are adjusting the correct cells when you do this... Contact White2001S10 about this. This is not thru tuning however, he actually sells some sort of 'tricker box'.

since i pulled the iat sensor out of the mass air flow and sensor and plan on just putting it in the intake tube if i was to mount the nitrous nozzle directly in front of the iat sensor that way it would be spraying right on it..would that make it change faster

There is a "fast acting" temp sensor bulb that you can solder on to a GM sensor that will react a lot quicker then the stock GM one, here a link to the thread about it.
