Default Daily Driver Nitrous?

Hey guys,
I have a 2006 silverado that I have many plans for. I am ordering a cam, headers, supercharger, and a custom tune. I am planning on keeping the motor internals stock but modifying the tranny. Is nitrous a good or bad idea on a daily driver and how hard is it on a stock motor?

....uh, what supercharger? What engine? Why nitrous if you are going to supecharge? Nitrous isn't "on" all the time. Trans will die long before your engine. You left custom tune out of your list. good luck with it!

well lifters/rods springs would be needed as well for optimum performance, what set up are you going for?

Why wouldnt you use nitrous with a supercharger? Im asking questions because I have no idea about nitrous. I see that alot of guys on here run it on their DD's so I was curious to how reliable it was. I've heard that I wouldnt want to run anything over +100 hp shot on my stock motor.

if you plan on doing all that to your truck then you might want to re-think the hole "stock internals" thing. for best performance youl want to change some things, specially with a cam. and build up the tranny for sure. may want to think about some gears as well.

Why don't you just do full bolt ons, cam and nitrous if you plan on keeping your your engine mostly stock internally.
