im tired of going slow and its about time to step up from this baby 100 shot. so have any of you folks ever put on some big boy shorts and really sprayed a 4.8?

 

Just spray it!!!! with good tuning i dont see why it wont hold unless you spin it to the moon.

put some arp rod bolts in and have no worrys.

oh btw im filling my bottle monday!

 

There really isnt a difference between the 5.7 or the 4.8 and my buddy with a GTO with an ls1 runs 200 on the stock bottom end running 10.2s all day long. it has all bolt-ons but nothing done to bottom end. Not even rod bolts. Its all in the tune

 

get it tuned and spray it. keep the window between 3,000 and 6600 to be on the safe side.

 

Do it, and don't mess with the rod bolts. They don't break like some people think they do, and half the time it just screws something up.

DO IT!!!! There was a guy on here a while back that was trying to blow a 4.8 up with nitrous. i think he put something like 40 bottles threw it........

 

Yep sure did.. Hit it wit the smack, keep the tune in check.. You will break trans, rears first lol

 

the trans is pretty stout and surely i wont blow the true trac apart...

 

i have a spare 4.8 ill hook you up with if it blows..
