Another window switch question
#1
Hope you all can help me out here. I guess I don't quite understand how a window switch shuts off your nitrous before shifts. Say my truck shifts at 5800 between 1-2, but between 2-3 its at 5600...Where do I set my upper RPM at? I don't have a tune yet and my cam isn't it so of course my rpms will be higher after those two things are done. Will they adjust my shift points to where it shifts at say 6400 and i can set my switch to shut off at 6200 in all gears or what? I haven't sprayed yet, won't until my tune and cam are in, just trying to understand this a little better. I have a mallory digital window switch by the way. Also is there any reason besides traction that you don't want to spray in first gear? Thanks for the help

The window switch turns on the nitrous relays and then shuts the off at rpm set points you adjust.
Set the window switch to keep spraying just before the shift points and not under 2500 Rpm Yes it can spray in 1st gear !
That helps with wheel spin and prevents engine damage.
A stall converter which would highly be suggested.
