AFR during run
I hooked up the HSW dry kit with thier interface last night. I set the fuel enrichment to max (14%), and made a run on a 75 shot with only about 800 psi pressure. The AFR on the LM1 stayed steady at 13.3. Is'nt that lean alittle?? I'm wondering if I'm maxing out the stock injectors??? What do you guys think?

VERY LEAN!! be careful, nitrous should be treated like FI.... you want around 12.0 when engaging the nitrous. or else mr piston can be burned up, rings can fail, too much heat is created from lack of fuel. you need to log injector duty while spraying, and see where you are at. may be an injector issue, or in need or a larger fuel pump.

what does "to the max 14%" mean?

It could just be a tune issue. But, you need to be commanding more fuel on nitrous. I personally wouldn't spray anymore till you get something figured out.

You can set the HSW interface to command 8%, 2%, and 4% more fuel, or select them all at once to have 14% When the nitrous is activated. I just logged and my INJ duty cylce is at 115% on motor alone. Why?? Its just a small cam in a LS1 with headers. I am running the stock injectors for now untill I get the 60#'s.

ah, okay...14% in the HSW interface. Gotcha. WOW 115%. That's bad news. That means in lamen terms, if your injectors could, they'd give 15% more fuel. LMAO What motor? small cam? HPT or EFI tuned?

Well its a 2003 Z71 with a 2000 LS1 swap. Stock 853 heads, comp 557/567 @ 117 LSA. (motor came out of a procharged car) It has a FLT trans, yank 4000, pacesetter longtubes with ofy. I'm using HPT to tune it, but I'm new to it, and still trying to figure it out. I have'nt messed with the VE, or PE tables yet, just the small stuff like rev limiter, delta cyl enable, shift points...etc. I have the HSW dual nozzle dry kit with the interface. I put the 75 shot pills in last night and made a short run to the top of 2nd. It pulled great, but when I went to go log it the usb cable came out on launch ( This thing launches sick!! ) so now I'm going to try again tonight. BTW the plugs looked fine.
