Advantages And Disadvantages
Ok I Have A Nos Wet Kit And I've Been Thinking Of Putting It On My Truck 06 Silverado 4.8 And I Was Wondering What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of You Nitrous. Is It Worth Useing? How Hard Is It To Install? Or Where Can I Find A Place That Installs It Here In Houston? Thanks I Know The Answer Is Probably Here On The Forums But I Couldnt Really Search For It.

2. Disadvantages- Bottles run out, hard hit off the line can break parts(trans, rear), Tuning required, running colder plugs(some noneffected, some are), if doing a mail order tune, timing is often set lower, so slower motor times, traction issues on initial hit,
3. It is definately worth using if you like to win races
4. It is a very straight forward install(if you can semi wire up things ex. speakers, headunits, etc, then you will have no problem with installing a nitrous kit).
