that is not a good idea....a nozzle is not designed to be located behind the TB...you are not going to get good distribution like that.
Our plate is the highest flowing plate on the market...and was the first to use multiple distribution ports and an O-ring instead of a paper gasket.
We carry both ours and the NOS plates in stock.

I'm switching from this HSW nozzle to a shark nozzle and moving its placement. A couple people have used the EGR hole with great results, its not the same as a car intake. I'm sure you know this, but what would be the difference in putting it right in front of the TB opening or right after it... if anything, I'd think it would be a more direct flowpath after the TB than before it.

With the way the truck intake is designed it would work bettr than a car manifold but it is still not ideal. The reason is it takes 4-6" before the mixture is fully atomized after leaving the nozzle...the front runners are a located within this distance if you place the nozzle after the TB. This issue will become more severe as the shot size gets larger.
That is why a nozzle is designed to go in front of the TB, this ensures a fully atomized mixture reaching the intake runners.
